ALTERED BOOK

 I rewrote a story through an English grammar textbook that was given to my mom in the 90’s, rewriting the fruitful story of how the struggle of immigrating, learning a new language, and making a new place “home” can be challenging. Through images of Armenian iconography and food, the language of food being what brings us “home” is present. This is a story of resilience.
